Made whilst on an artist residency in Jingdezhen, this pendant is a hand-coloured blue porcelain finished with a clear glaze and fired to 1340 degC in a gas kiln for approximately 10 hours.
All pendants are unique and one design only. No two pieces are the same.
The pendant hangs from a navy blue nylon strand and includes a brass-look pendant piece embedded with various faux crystal gems plus an aqua blue ceramic bead.and brass-look ring. The necklace length is fully adjustable.
The reverse is stamped with my trademark stamp. The front side is impressed with a section of a wooden carving from a demolished and ancient building in China.
Maximum length approx 45 cm. Pendant measures 8.5 cm long x 3.5 cm wide (at its widest point) including beads.
All items have been hand made with the greatest care, attention and passion. I don’t make any item I either wouldn’t wear, keep or give myself. All items are carefully packed for postage to your chosen destination.
