When you’re on the road, it’s not always convenient to cook, right? So, what do you do? You look up the cuisine that appeals to your palate at the time and find a few reviews online. Tonight it was Chan’s Chinese at Leeton, NSW. Good reviews and right next door to Tang’s, which was packed full of customers, whilst Chan’s was quiet and service was excellent and super fast!
Decor is plain and simple, unlike their food!
Their vegetable fried rice is really scrummy with some magic herbs and spices that really make it unique. Definitely worth tasting.
And oh…. that honey chicken! Divine. Again, it’s had some sort of secret spice added that gives it a really subtle flavour that’s quite unique and so very tasty.
Top it off, dissolve it or wash it all down with a pot of Chinese jasmine tea and you’re set. All cooked in a lovely clean, fresh oil – if you’re thinking entree – expect a meal-size. If you’re expecting meal-sized mains, expect a banquet size. Big servings, great value for money and excellent service.
