Product Purchases
We like to think we offer you the best service possible when it comes to purchasing your items. We stand by the quality of our items and assure our customers that you are purchasing items that have been made or supplied with the utmost attention to detail. Our prices are competitive with similar products in the current market and we aim to supply items in our Shop designed to suit you and your needs, that complement each other.
Product Returns
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
It is not our policy to accept returns or give refunds for items that have been used, damaged or disposed of after receipt by the customer. If there is a fault with the item purchased, please contact us to discuss the issue so that we can organise a refund, exchange or return.
To be eligible for a return:
- Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
- Your item must also be in the original packaging
- We require you to provide a receipt or proof of purchase
- Any associated costs to return the item will be at the cost of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed with the supplier
Items that cannot be returned include:
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Any item where the purchaser has had a change of mind
- Gift cards
- Gift vouchers
- Downloadable products
- Some health and personal care items
- Books or literature with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
We will do our best to ensure customer satisfaction and are open to any discussion that may arise from any issues with your product purchases. Contact us to discuss any queries you may have.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of any refund where applicable and arrange to credit via the original method of payment with 7 days of receipt of the return by the supplier.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account, PayPal or credit account again. It may take some time before your financial institution processes any payments to you.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us as we will do our utmost to ensure you are satisfied. Please note that many items sold on this site are one-offs and unique and with no two items being identical there is no guarantee of replacement of an item exactly matching the original item’s description. You may also notice some slight flaws in the fabric used. Whilst we avoid this in every item we produce we cannot guarantee that the smallest of flaws may still be noticeable. Given many of our fabrics used are ex-industry deadstock or from deceased estates or private collections, storage marks or fold marks may appear and may also disappear once the fabrics have been washed.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit/coupon code to the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift voucher will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will deal with us directly to discuss your return.
Custom orders
Whilst it is not our normal practice to accept custom orders we are certainly open to discussion. Given the limited supply of fabrics we use we are also limited in what we can provide. This is also an advantage to you, the purchaser, as you receive a unique product.
Should you wish to discuss any customisation please get in touch. If you would also like to explore the option of providing your own fabric please note we will not provide any warranty against the use, durability and quality of the fabric provided. Any provision of fabric and delivery to us by the purchaser is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. We generally do not offer this option as a minimum production charge still applies, starting at $60. More often than not, we find that customers prefer to select an item from our collection to save time on searching for and purchasing fabric, postage, any possibly delivery delays and having to pay a minimum charge.
Delivery of Purchases
Our products are usually dispatched either the same day or next day. Where a purchase falls just prior to a weekend or long weekend with public holiday/s, your items will be dispatched the next working day. Items are posted via Australia Post (or nominated courier) with tracking information or Courier tracking information (where available) depending on your delivery preference selected in the shopping cart or your location where Australia Post deliveries are limited or do not apply and tracking details are provided to you via email and/or SMS after purchase.
Once a purchase delivery has been confirmed by Australia Post or nominated courier we take no responsibility for mail theft or personal collection by the purchaser. If your purchase has not arrived and confirmed to have not arrived by Australia Post or nominated courier to your nominated delivery address or has not been collected from a Post office within a reasonable amount of time given natural disasters, state emergencies or any other major reason such delays occur, we will endeavour to contact Australia Post or our nominated courier on your behalf to trace the whereabouts and anticipated arrival date of your delivery.
